The Cadet Squadron Commander is equivalent to which role?

The key idea is how leadership scales with unit size. A squadron oversees several flights, handling training, drill, logistics, and overall coordination for a larger group. A Flight Commander has the same kind of leadership duties, but for a single flight within that squadron. So, the role that best matches the responsibilities of the Cadet Squadron Commander is Cadet Flight Commander—both are the primary leaders responsible for directing and organizing cadets, just at different levels of the unit structure. A Cadet Sergeant is an enlisted/noncommissioned leadership role within a flight, not in charge of an entire squadron. Ranks like Cadet Captain or Cadet Lieutenant denote rank, not the specific role of commanding a squadron.
